How we choose

NUHYLabs is not an education company. If work meets the three conditions below, we will build it, whatever the field. Education is simply where a product shipped first.

The same call, over and over

A person reads the same kind of material against the same criteria and produces the same shape of result, again and again. The more it repeats, the more it is worth automating.

It takes a person a long time

Work measured in tens of minutes or hours per case — especially when the time comes from volume rather than difficulty.

The rules are already written down

The basis for a decision already exists in writing — a rule, a form, a document. Machine-readable grounds are what make the output checkable.

What we build

Document understanding pipeline

We extract structure from PDFs, office documents, scans and handwritten photos — including vision OCR and LaTeX rendering for STEM material.

Backend and async processing

Document processing and generation run as queued jobs on FastAPI and Celery, against managed databases and caches we operate ourselves.

Web and iOS clients

We build the web app and a native iOS app (including widgets) on one account system, in-house rather than outsourced.

Bilingual by construction

Interfaces and AI output support both Korean and English, letting us run two markets with different academic calendars from one family of codebases.

What we hold to

Confirm before saving

Reading times off a photo or a PDF can be off by a few minutes, so nothing is saved automatically. There is always one confirmation screen.

No invented evidence

Testimonials on our product sites are real survey responses reproduced as written. We do not publish ratings or user counts we have not collected.

Uploaded material stays the user's

What a user uploads is used only to power that account's features, and can be deleted at any time. The details are in each service's privacy policy.
